The 300 Foot Pack does not fit a soft top, it only fits the hardtop Jeeps.

Hi Alex,

The 300 Rain Gutter Tower would not work on your Protege 5. These towers are used for vehicles with rain gutter on the top or side of vehicles. They are a prominent lip that sticks out almost a full inch away from the vehicle that you would see on older Vans of SUV's.

The 480 Tower with the 1110 Fit Kit is the correct application that will suit your vehicle.

No, the 300 towers would not work on the Matrix. You can use the Thule 480 towers that clip into the door frame.

The 300 foot pack comes with 4 towers. Enough for 2 cross bars.

Thule does offer a tower for your van it would be the 387 tower with the 65" load bar.

The 300 towers can be locked with a thule lock core. You will need to purchase 4 Thule locks #100544. They come with a plastic insert in the tower remove them and replace with the lock. If you have any questions please contact us at 303-278-4999.

You will need those 300 towers and lb58 bars. You will limited to carrying bikes, skis, and snowboards.
