You will need a base rack to mount this basket.

There is only one clip on style system for your truck in the Yakima Q Tower system. This would accept a Thule or Yakima basket just fine.

Permanent fixed points or tracks could also be installed on the cab of your truck that would give you extra width between the bars and a more stable mounting surface.
