Super easy one handed opening and closing, make this a great box to use. The rapid fire hardware attached quickly to my crossbars and the dual side opening makes it easy to access my gear from either side. Angled bottom clears my hatch nicely, shape cuts through the wind as well. Slightly heavy weight, than a comparable thule, but longer so you can get longer items inside of it . Closing would be easier if handle was used to close it, like its used to open it. These minor issues are why it doesn't get a 5 rating
