The Thule 753 BMW Car Rack is made specifically for the 1999-2003 BMW 3 Series sedan, 2001-2003 3 Series 2 door and the 1997-2003 5 Series sedan. This complete system includes feet and load bars plus end caps.
- The feet do not touch the finish of the vehicle
- Fixed-point style carrier for attaching into BMW designated mounting location
- Includes security allen bolts to secure rack in place
- One size of bar, not expandable

Can I get a fit kit that will make this fit for a 2008 VW GLI?
Barry,
No, unfortunately you cannot. The GLI rack is a completely different product. The 753 BMW Specialty Carrier is designed for BMWs only.
