Thule T2 Pro XT Bike Rack

Works great for bikes with between 25mm and 4.7" tyres as intended. Nice and solid in the hitch, no rattles.

UPDATE: disregard my previous comment. Rear straps can be adjusted to gain about 4 more inches. Need to remove strap and rethread it through slot on other side. Easily moved back and forth between two settings. Brilliant! Overall this rack earns 5 ?? with me.

Would have been 5 stars but it falls short as the rear strap is not long enough to fit Fat bike 27.5 4.5 inch tire despite Thule claiming it will fit. So far they offer no solution. Expected more from Thule for a premium rack. 3 stars. Otherwise a capable rack.

Great bike rack. Maybe a tiny bit tricky to put together out of the box (instructions are all in pictures—no text), but easy to use once it’s together! It’s easy to get on and off the car, and easy to put bikes on. Took me a minute to figure out how to lock the rack to the car.

Very nice bike rack. Easy to assemble and mount on a vehicle. It weighs 29 kg so is noticeable when lifting it. Bikes are held securely when mounted.

Product is great so far. Solid materials, feels sturdy and easy to load bikes. Went together really easily however instructions are not great. Can't wait to start transporting my bikes and expanding the network of trails I can ride!

The rack came within 3-business days after ordering and it was a snap to assemble and install. I watched all the videos provided by Rack Attack before assembling which help with the process. The rack was purchased to transport a LIV e-Intrigue mountain bike and has worked awesome.

Security is definitely very good with this system. Large and heavy bikes do not move, even when driving over bumpy terrain closer to the trails. The rack is heavy though, so expect a workout installing and removing it.

Nice bike rack, But the button head allen screws it comes with are crap!! The allen wrench on some of them would barley fit and after a while trying to tighten them the heads would strip out. I know what I'm talking about I am a Industrial Machinist and work with this stuff every day. Please upgrade the fasteners

Great rack, so easy to live with! Every ride you will have 4 interactions with your rack and the T2 makes them fast and hassle free. I bought this because I saw a bike shuttle service in Downieville using it and figured they know what’s up. I used to have a Thule Apex 4 which I never liked much despite its capacity, too many handles and pins and bungees to fiddle with. The T2 eliminates all that and gets you riding.

Super simple to put together. The self-tightening hitch is game changer. No rattle whatsoever. Looks good on the whip and very easy to load/unload bikes. Get it.

2017 Cadillac Escalade ESV

I purchased this along with the Xsporter Pro during the %20 sale and did not regret it. Thule is top notch along with Yakima products. I had Yakima Bed Rock along with Yakima Front Loader and they were great for my application. Unfortunately we will be bringing our new kayak along with our bikes along with more toys so I had to rethink on a new setup. That being said, decided to install a front hitch receiver for the T2 Pro and install the Xsporter Pro, which covers all my needs. Based on what Thule and Yakima has, you will need to research to make sure you know all the attachments you need and what model will fit what so do your due diligence as both brands do make great products albeit slightly different design. It's a Coke vs Pepsi thing :)

Very impressed with this rack! It is really easy to mount bikes onto, only takes a couple of minutes and the whole rack is very sturdy and secure in the trailer hitch receiver. Very little lateral or vertical motion. The service from Rack Attack was great too.

This bike rack is fantastic. Really well made, sturdy and easy to use. The instruction book for assembly was a challenge to understand, but with the help of a YouTube video, we figured out how to get it together. Rack Attack had a great price on this bike rack also.

Great rack. The rack is way more heavy duty than I anticipated. This is my first thule rack. It was simple to assemble and after 10-20 minutes the rack was entirely put together and attached to my vehicle. Albeit a bit on the pricy side once you consider making this a 4 bick rack, I think the value is in the ease of use and platform nature of the bike in that the bikes don't touch while the vehicle is in motion. Also really apprecaite the security features of this rack - the rack secures to the hitch and the front tire arms inclue a locking/deterant mechanism to secure the bike to the rack.

Wonderful, easy to use!!!

Best option to carry bikes on a car, particularly those with 1.25 inch class I hitches. The ability to raise/lower the rack one-handed while holding the bike in the other is a game-changer. Saves a ton of time/hassle. Installation is simple if you watch a video on YouTube. Plenty of clearance to the rear bumper on my Fiesta ST.

The Instructions are lacking in detail. Fortunately, there are good how-to videos on youTube

Thule T2 Pro XT is a solid and user friendly rack. Folding it up when not in use or down to access the trunk is easy and very convenient. Would definitely recommend.

Our rack does not hold the bikes in place without the lock since the bar that secures the front tires does not lock in position security. Just had a bike come off it and had another almost drop off.

Easy to setup and install on the car

This is really an outstanding rack. Very well built with very well designed functionality. Super simple to use. One of the best features is how easy it is to mount and remove from the hitch receptor. I personally don't like having a rack hanging off the rear of my car any more than I need it to and this Thule is the easiest hitch rack to mount or remove I could find. On or off in seconds. Rack Attack is just outstanding as well. This is the 2nd time I have bought from them over the years.

I Like the pin mechanism and the product is sturdy. Instructions include some pictures only, you have to figure out how to change strap length settings.

This unit is the best on the market. I rate them poor on the assembly instructions. Only pictures NO written instructions. I was able to assemble only because of my friend whom put this same rack together less than 1 month ago.

Does what I need and want it to do exactly. Fits and looks good. Except the broken piece that was shipped.

This is a great quality rack made in the USA. It just feels solid like a tank. The design is very intuitive and includes nice features such as retractable locking cables and adjustable mounting bars. Just about any combination of bikes should fit because the design allows for flexibility. The rack also has a handle at the furthest point away from the hitch which provides great leverage. Overall, very happy!

This rack is very stable and is really nice that you don't have to worry about parts that come free from the rack. Just slide it into the receiver until the safety pin locks into place and tighten it up. The rack doesn't jump around on the car. It's also nice that it fits all types of bikes from road to fat. I also really like that I can expand the system if I ever need to in the future. I would recommend the T2 Pro XT to my friends and family.
