Saris Superclamp EX Bike Rack

As I am waiting for a bolt to arrive from Saris I have not been able to assemble and try out the rack as yet. Customer support was quick!

The rack is well built, and is very easy to assemble and super easy to use. One thing that could be improved is the wheel holders. They are plastic and one broke during assembly. Saris replaced under warranty this time. I have also broken one on my other rack and I had to purchase a new one.

Easy, lighter than most to load on and off. Easy to reach tilt lever is a plus. Good looking rack!

After extensive research, I settled on the Saris Ex-2 Bike Rack, and I am glad I did. It came, as promised, in a few short days. It was, as promised, very easy to put together and attach to my Tacoma. I am, as promised, very pleased.

Well designed and constructed. Looking forward to putting it to the test.

Super easy to load and unload bikes.

Shipment as quick, I récrives my rack the week agiter my order. The Nike rack coule not ne simples to install : 3 nut&bolts to install ! Putting my Two bikes on the rack is also easy. I like that it really fits a y kind of bikes and does not touch the bike frame. I would havé liked to get a few more inches on the locking cables, but I manage to pass them where I want.

Works good especially for bikes with fenders.

Great rack and very easy to operate. Has all of the needed features and functions.

Double check your wheel base because my bike is almost too long for this, but I can make it work.

This is the best rack I have found. It is easy to set up and fast to load and unload.

Product delivered very quickly. Box was in good shape on delivery. Assembly was very easy. Fits on vehicle very well. Excellent rack overall. I would recommend.

2010 BMW 3 Series 4dr

This is a high quality bike rack, and the quality really shows! Setup is very easy and quick, and loading the bikes is a snap. Mechanically, its engineered very well, with all fastenings having vibration resistance nuts, so it won't fall apart when on an elongated trip or over time. One caveat relates to the trailer hitch pin hole on the Toyota Highlander which is much further back than regularly found on other vehicles, and the hitch pin hole on the Saris rack is only 1 1/2" from the end of the rack hitch mount. So the rack sticks half way out of the trailer hitch. It fits OK in the hitch receiver, but i'm not comfortable that its not going to wear long term. So, I'll probably have to figure something out (slight modification perhaps). Saris could easily solve this problem by having an extra hole drilled deeper into the hitch fitting (say 4" from the end). Whats really good is the hitch fitting itself. Saris supplies a threaded pin and built-in lock nut with padlock locking. This means the rack is padlocked to the car via the trailer hitch and the threaded nut/bolt means the whole thing doesn't rattle in its mount, a nice touch.

Really easy to use. Easy to get bikes on and off. Holds in there tight.
