Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack

Living rural, we get our fair share of *rap shipped to us that we have to assemble. This, gladly wasn’t one of these instances. Kuat racks!! , amazing instructions and packaging. Easy assembly. Their pride in ownership exudes. Glad they exist.

Very stout rack, might be Kuats entry level tray offering but build quality and materials rival any of the more expensive offerings from many of the mainline competitors.

Love the new rack. I bought it because I needed a strong rack for my RV. I have had a Sherpa 2.0 for many years and my buddy has the NV 2 and we love them. My only gripe is that they give you a hitch pin with a Cotter pin not a lock like the rest of the racks I’ve had. I’ve called about it and was basically told that I could buy one. Just seems petty that they didn’t include the lock. Still love the racks though

Works great so far. Slightly too tight against the bumper when folded up. It is leaving a dent in the bumper Kia Sportage 2006 however we prefer this than our bikes in the car

Arrived undamaged from Rack Attack. Took two of us 1.5-2 hours to put the rack together but that included the unpacking and laying everything out in some sort of order. The directions were pretty clear, all necessary tools were included and no parts were missing. We liked that a drawstring bag was included that is big enough to hold tools, locks, pins and directions. Haven’t used the rack yet but the previous model (original Transfer) was easy to use and very stable. Will report in if future problems.

Perfect for my car and travel trailer. There is literally no other rack that I could put on my travel trailer to hold two e-cruisers and not exceed the hitch weight max. So happy with the functionality and quality of this rack!

Light weight quality bike rack. Easy to assemble, place on the car and load bikes. Highly recommend.

The instructions for assembly are easy to read and it took less than an hour to fully assemble and install on my car. The box included all necessary hardware and tools for the assembly. Beyond assembly, it's very easy to operate and, while it isn't too heavy (~35 lbs), it seems to be very robust. The ball cam anti-rattle mechanism has worked well thus far. It holds the rack/bike in place with minimal movement. Installing the hitch on the car and mounting the bike on the rack takes less than 5 minutes, which is far less time than the old trunk-mounted, strapped rack that I had in the past. If the rack is already on the car, it takes about 2 minutes to get the bike on at a leisurely pace and since there is no contact between the rack and the car's paint, I feel comfortable leaving it on for longer periods of time, unlike a trunk-mounted rack with straps that fly in the wind.
