If you drive an SUV or van, probably not. Be sure to measure the total height of the vehicle with the Yakima SkyBox 16 Cargo Box installed, and keep that information handy (on the inside of your sun visor is a great place). Running into your garage will, unfortunately, void the box's warranty.

While the weight limit of your roof rack may differ, cargo boxes can hold up to 165 pounds.

As long as your vehicle is equipt with the crossbars (side to side) then all of our cargo boxes will attach directly to the rack. If you have a rear hatch, make sure to measure how much room you have and compare to the box length to make sure the hatch won't hit the box when opening. If you don't have crossbars, you will first need to add those prior to adding in a cargo box.

Nice looking, Fits the crossbars on my hardtop quite well. Don't like the plastic handles, and the amount of force required to open box. From day one it was hard to believe that they would stand the test of time. Now, here I am a year later with both of the handles broken and it's looking like an expensive fix. Plus my snowboard is stuck inside and it's snowing hard. I wouldn't recommend spending money on this product.

Super easy one handed opening and closing, make this a great box to use. The rapid fire hardware attached quickly to my crossbars and the dual side opening makes it easy to access my gear from either side. Angled bottom clears my hatch nicely, shape cuts through the wind as well. Slightly heavy weight, than a comparable thule, but longer so you can get longer items inside of it . Closing would be easier if handle was used to close it, like its used to open it. These minor issues are why it doesn't get a 5 rating
