The Thule 689USXT Spirit 1600 is Thule's low-profile cargo box with a reinforced lid and an ergonomic lock knob for increased security, gear protection and easier opening and closing. The Thule 689USXT Spirit 1600 comes in a metallic silver finish.

If you drive an SUV or van, probably not. Be sure to measure the total height of the vehicle with the Thule 689USXT Spirit 1600 Silver Cargo Box installed, and keep that information handy (on the inside of your sun visor is a great place). Running into your garage will, unfortunately, void the box's warranty.

While the weight limit of your roof rack may differ, cargo boxes can hold up to 165 pounds.

As long as your vehicle is equipt with the crossbars (side to side) then all of our cargo boxes will attach directly to the rack. If you have a rear hatch, make sure to measure how much room you have and compare to the box length to make sure the hatch won't hit the box when opening. If you don't have crossbars, you will first need to add those prior to adding in a cargo box.

Great product. Took a 1100 mile round trip with a family of eight and did not know the Thule was up top. It had enough room for all the luggage and more. Highway MPG dropped a little but the low noise from the wind going over the Thule made up for it. I also like the sleek modern design. Looks like factory equipment. Get this and you will not be disappointed.

Outstanding! Drove from CA to New York, with six, Extremely unnoticable and economical. Gas milaged drop was very slight aside from this you will litterarly forget its up there, unless you have the sun roof like us, and only when you open it up. Bought this model beacuse the vehicle and carrier all fit into garage as well as matched the vehicle color exactly. Outstanding Product!
