For our next spotlight, we take a moment to meet one of our Canadian friends and the face behind @scaia_offroad. This ambassador takes advantage of beautiful British Columbia and always makes sure his followers get a chance to enjoy it with him! Meet Andrew and scaia_offroad below!

My name is Andrew, and I’m someone who craves the freedoms of the backcountry and looks for any excuse to get out of the everyday hustle and bustle to escape into the unknown. Whether it's chasing sunsets, navigating through glacial landscapes or simple backcountry switchbacks, all is well when balancing work and play in the great outdoors. 

Connecting to nature has always been something that binds me and my wife, Rachel. We are sure to make the most of our four seasons with outdoor recreational activities such as paddle boarding, snowboarding, overlanding, and downhill mountain biking. For us, it’s about creating a lifestyle that we don’t need to escape from, a lifestyle that gives back.

As we break away from our mold, we embrace the cultures, experiences, and people we share our time with. We rely on the gear to get us there and the relationships to keep us continually fuelled.

Our 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD continues to be outfitted to meet our changing needs. After all, that’s the beauty of the outdoors; it shifts and changes, it ebbs and flows, and we do our best to follow it. Our road trips vary from casual to technical and from weekend getaways to longer road trips. Therefore, we constantly re-evaluate our gear and the ’necessities’ we choose to travel. Our experience grows with each journey we take and it’s important for us to be backed by a partner who shares our passions, understands the need for continued flexibility and is a like-minded brand within the outdoor community.
