The Piston™ Pro X is unlike any other rack on the market. This rack is 99% metal. The only reason why Küat can’t say it’s 100% metal is because they haven’t figured out how to make metal taillights yet. While the main material is aluminum, Küat also employs high-quality IGUS bushings on key pivots, custom-formulated Tiger Powder coating and stainless-steel hardware. There’s also an automotive-grade 750-hour salt spray on steel components, so this rack shouldn’t rust even if you drive it all winter on salty roads. Plus, Küat has an exclusive partnership with Kashima to coat the pistons in Genuine Kashima coat.
The Piston™ Pro X has integrated LED taillights which seamlessly connect with your trailer light hookups. There may be other racks with lights, but believe us when we say, YOU WON’T BELIEVE YOUR EYES when you see these. Beautifully designed to complement your vehicle as well as offering a heightened level of visibility and safety when traveling.
The rack’s name comes from its one-tap, hydro-pneumatic piston arms that open generously so you can load your bike. The ratchet arms grab your bike tires so there is zero contact on your bike frame. And the tool free adjustable tire chocks make adjusting for different bike sizes and tires quick and easy accommodating wheels 18-29 inches, tires as wide as 5 inches and wheelbases up to 53 inches wide.

It attaches to your two-inch receiver with a lockable camming system that’s wobble-free. The install tool is integrated into the rack so it’s always with you. When the rack is locked onto your vehicle, the tool is locked too. Plus, there is a 12mm rubber-coated semi-integrated cable lock that secures bikes right to the rack.
Have a heavier e-bike? The 2 inch, 2-bike Piston™ Pro X holds bikes as heavy as 67 lbs. per tray. Plus, Küat has an optional e-bike ramp (sold separately) that easily attaches and makes loading and unloading an easy lift.
