Great product for the price, with a few minor issues. First of all (unlike other similar Yakima mounts), there is no way of locking the rear wheel tray to the crossbar. As a result, only ONE sks lock core is needed... Not two as indicated in the user manual. (I confirmed all this with Yakima after buying 2 forkchops and a 4 pack of lock cores). Yakima customer service was great, refunded the 2 lock cores and noted the lock for the rear tray as a product recommendation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below you will find a list of the most frequently asked questions for this product. If you need more assistance you can email a rack-install technician, or call us at: 1-877-432-8301

No! Any tools required for installing this rack product come included in the box!

This comes down to your preference, the type of bikes you're carrying, and if you have any height restrictions. But for the most part if you're not riding a super fancy high-end road race bike then leaving your front tire on is easier, and more convenient.
