Kuat Transfer Cable Lock & Hitch Pin Kit - Double Bike Rack

They are great to have attached right to the rack, I just wish they were a little bit longer. I have a 29” wheel bike, I can fit the lock around the forks, but it doesn’t fit through the frame. Still, amazing purchase, definitely recommend.

Excellent lock kit for the traverse. Installs easily and works perfectly.

2016 Honda CR-V

While convenient, the cable locks will provide only minimal security. The entire cable lock could easily be removed from the rack in a short amount of time with the correct tool.

2007 Honda Pilot

It would be much better if the locking cables were twice as long to allow for securing frame and front tire at the same time. The locks are only a handy deterrent but I wouldn't leave bikes unattended for very long - cables could be easily be cut.

Easy to use and secures the bikes to the rack and rack to the car.

2019 Nissan Rogue

Not the cheapest, but the lock set complements the Transfer rack perfectly. Kuat's instructions were very clear, as usual, and installation of the locks into the ratchet arms was really easy. The locks blend in nicely with the rack and are completely unobtrusive when not in use. The cables could use a few more inches in length to accommodate a wider variety of bikes, but for my needs are just long enough.

Cables too short to lock the frame and the front fork with one cable. Need about 6 more inches to do the job. Otherwise, product is good.
