Yakima Windshield - 40 Inch

Using this with my 2019 Mazda CX-5. I have Thule wingbars, podium feet, attached to factory installed flush rails. Originally ordered a longer windscreen but that was a mistake. The 40” is the correct size. Totally eliminated the whistle sound at high speed. No problem attaching the Yakima windscreen to Thule wingbars. Recommended.

2017 Mazda 3 4dr

Works really great at removing the whistling of the roof racks, and if well purposed for that. However, I found it was surprisingly cheap for dishing out $150. The anchors don’t necessarily hold the fairing down well, and so it rattles a bit when going over bumps and at certain wind speeds. Overall I would say it’s a very ok product, not good not bad, just ok.

Cheap quality. Product is too flimsy. Rattles in the wind. Would not recommend. Too expensive for what it's worth. Very disappointed

nice product, looks good and seems to do what it is supposed to. However it does not fit my 04 forester xt perfectly but I was able to make it work.

The windshield is easy to install hut it does feel kind of flimsy and not like it should cost what it costs.

2013 Toyota Prius C

If you have the 2011 escape, get the smaller windscreen the 40 inch is just slightly big. I made it work, but the smaller screen would have been better.

Don't know how the rack sounds without it, but it looks great, and the rack does not make much noise with it.

2003 Mazda Protege

It does what it is designed to do. Very easy to install and looks cool. Docking 1 star off because of two reasons: 1.) it's a permanent fixture, meaning once it's on your cross bars, it is on for good (unless you cut off the oversized zip ties that secures the Windshield onto your cross bar). 2.) the accessory is relatively flimsy and not lockable with SKS key.

40" fairing fits the 2015 Honda Fit very well. A 44" fairing will probably fit perfectly if you like the larger fairing look.

Unfortunately had to return this, nothing wrong with the product, just wouldn't fit properly due to sunroof.
