Easy to understand instructions, and loos nice on the car

Once you get a hang of the settings these can adjust to make a really nice custom fit to the cars contour. I fount that the settings on yakimas website were really close but after a few additional tweaks after a test install they fit perfectly.

The whole system goes together very well and attaches to the vehicle very solidly. Much better setup than my previous Yakima racks with round bars and Q-Towers. My only complaint is setting the toe and pitch of the baseline set is a little fussy. But it works.

Yakima puts togather an amazing, robust rack system, including clear, detailed, and concise instructions as well as all the tools you need. Love the ball head Allen key torque tool!! Awesome!

Great product and easy instructions. I put it on one day and headed out for a 1,000 mile ride the next. Not one issue!

Steep learning curve to install but when finally installed after several hours of adjusting rock solid on a naked roof.

Arrived quickly w no damage. -Clear installation instructions -Req’d tools provided. -Fit is very good/firm. -Appearance good as far as roof racks go -Some noticeable wind noise, but not bad -hardest thing was registering product, pulling sku numbers, serial numbers, etc

Quality is great and good instructions, but placement on my vehicle could be better. They sit way too far to the front, would have preferred something that is more centered and on the vehicle.

Heavy duty, easy installation

I was a little worried about buying a system for my naked roof, but the Yakima Baseline is so solidly built my worries vanished after installation.

Works as expected, but scratching at corner of access panels, obviously these were pre used/returned product.

Instructions could have been clearer in some places. In particular, the illustration showing how to set the toe position on the front (and rear) crossbars does not show the viewer's position relative to the car. For example, if you are looking down at the crossbar while facing the rear of the car, the T1 measurement will look one way, while if you are facing the front of the car, it will be the opposite! I set them to what appeared to be T1 while facing the rear of the car. When I put the rack on the roof, I realized the pads did not line up properly. They were actually at T3! When I reversed the direction of the crossbar, the pads lined up.

Had Yakima kayak racks several years back. This system is much more complex/difficult to assemble and use. Materials are much less sturdy than previous systems. Value is also questionable given design/materials in rack system. This review applies to all elements of the rack system.

Instructions can be unclear at times, but overall awesome product. Back feet for the 2015 Fit need to be rotated to setting 1. Leveling setting is A for the back and B for the front. Front feet rotation is correct on the instructions. You might want to widen the feet by about a 1/4" to have a better fit as well.
