The SportRack basket does not fit on the original crossbars of my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Overland). I purchased the SportRack basket plus extension 2 years ago when I was driving a 2006 Jeep Commander. We traded this Jeep Commander in this past summer. Tonight I dug the basket out from the back of my garage because we're heading out of town & the darn thing is too wide!!! It lays partially on each of the 4 knobs to tighten the cross bars. Which means you cannot properly attach the basket. So bummed, the basket wasn't cheap.

Just received the basket within a week of ordering and have it mounted and secured on my 2006 Vibe with factory crossbars, I was concerned it might look a bit out of place but it looks really good. Im going to put it to use in july by driving from Labrador to New Brunswick, thanks for the great service Rack Attack.

Great rack! Easy to put together, install and very reasonable price. I am very happy with the fit, finish and functionality. The look is good and the wind deflector does an admirable job of keeping the highway wind noise down to a minimum. I will be buying the extension kit ASAP as it is a bit short in stock form for an SUV or Minivan. It is however excellent size for a smaller sedan or hatchback.

For the money, this is the best you can get. It is solid and mounts great. Almost like it was built specifically for the Xterra. In conjunction with the net, You can stuff lots of kit up on the roof and not worry about loosing it. The same company makes a decent priced cargo bag that fits right in it for packing your kit in. I love this basket
