Will the Thule Slipstream attach to the factory crossbars on the 2012 Honda Pilot, or do I need Thule crossbars?
The Slipstream attaches to your factory installed crossbars.

Will the Thule 887XT Slipstream work on our 2012 Subaru Outback Wagon that has the factory crossbar rack? We would be using it with an Old Town Tandem Kayak.
Yes, the Slipstream will attach to the Subaru factory bars.

Vehicle: 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser
I have a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser with factory installed roof racks. The cross bars are flat-oval in shape and about 37" wide, 2.5" from front to back, and 0.5" from top to bottom. I want to load a Hobie Pro Angler kayak on the Thule 887 XT Slipstream rack. Will this combination work on my vehicle? I saw a video that loaded the Pro Angler on an 887 rack mounted on a Toyota Highlander, so I'm assuming this will work on my FJ Cruiser, but wanted to be extra sure, before spending over $300!
The 887 will fit on factory racks with no issue, your crossbars are the common size so you'll be good to go! If you have any other questions, feel free to call us at 888 399 RACK. Thanks!

Vehicle: 2006 BMW X5
I have a 2006 BMW X5 with Thule crossbars. Demensions 58 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. I want to carry two Kayaks on the roof. Can I buy two (2) 887XT Slipstream or do I have to go with one Slipstream and one 835 Pro Hull-a-Port. . Is the crossbars wide enought to put on two slipstreams
Thanks very much
With the 58" crossbars, you would be able to fit 2 slipstreams. Each one takes up about 25", so you would have room to load the boats and properly tie everything down.
Hope this helps, thanks,
