The Yakima LowRider hooks on to your factory installed side rails, creating a solid mounting point for a pair of Yakima Crossbars, sold separately. The Yakima LowRider includes four towers that can be locked with the purchase of SKS lock cylinders.

Super easy to install, grips the factory rails with absolutely no wiggle ... the whole system is rock solid. Go ahead and order some sort of wind reduction device ... I am not keen on a fairing resting on the glass moonroof so I am opting for a Windjammer that is coming soon. The howl isn't bad but at highway speeds I can see it getting annoying -- note: the noise is just plain physics and in no way detracts from the quality of this roof rack system! I like the simplicity of the SKS locks and knowing that when I park downtown the rack will still be there!
Order arrived surprisingly fast and in perfect condition ... and ALL the parts were in the box. Good job Yakima and good job Rack Attack!

Wow, I'm amazed at the kung fu grip these have! I can rock my vehicle back and forth and these don't even give a millimeter! Their low profile looks awesome and doesn't create much wind resistance. In fact, paired with the round bars, the LowRiders really improve the looks of my vehicle! Being so slick and slim, they almost look engineered just for me! Being round, the crossbars allow me to pitch my kayak rack to the curves of my boat. Can't do that with Thule or factory bars!
