Installed on my 2011 Subaru Outback factory crossbars with NO tools in less than 15 minutes. Holds onto my 2009 Specialized Stumpjumper very well. Rackattack.com has GREAT customer service. They took the time to call me on a Sunday to inform me that a separate Yakima wheel holder would not fit my particular car and they set me up with a Thule wheel holder for the same price. Shipping was very fast.

Pretty good rack. You can hear it with the sunroof open but otherwise its quiet. It fit my Subaru good and holds the bikes well.
I didn't rate it a 5 because you can't secure the skewer or the rear strap without the bike so they move around. Nor can you remove the skewer when not in use since this is what locks the rack to the car which is unfortunate cause the huge bright skewer looks like hell on an all black rack.

We want to fit a roof box AND two road bikes...can we mount the bike racks on the outside of the towers to make room for the box?

Will this work with factory installed crossbars, the flat kind? I had a full Yakima rack system and viper bike bar but it does only fit round bars.
