This is a good product. well made and sturdy. May not work with yaks less than 14'. The bed length on my truck is 5'8", and have a roof rack over cab. My wife's perception illusion just fit. Very stable at speed (70-75mph). The only down side is access to tailgate while dry dock is installed. a bit of a pain, but worth it for us.

Can the drydock be used in a front receiver? I have a 5th wheel and want to mount my canoe over the cab to the front. It will fit with a 3 foot overhang over the front receiver.

The Yakima Drydock will work on a front mounted hitch just be careful of how you mount the canoe
