Pretty sure this will attach to the rain gutters of my jeep JK hard top, question is how much weight will it support?

Hi Eric,
Our fit guide lists the 1A as one of the fits for your Wrangler. The rack system can support up to 165lbs

Yes all Yakima bars are round and the 1A Raingutter tower will work for your van. Thule does offer a tower for your van it would be the 387 tower.
