I was considering the spare mounted rack from another major brand because I use other products from them and have been very happy. After recommendations from the Portland, OR staff and seeing how secure the Thule Spare Me attaches to the vehicle, I decided to go with the Spare Me. Even though it is a little more cost up front, I am glad I went with what seems a better mounting design. I have not had issues with the Spare Me shifting on the spare or allowing the bikes too much sway. I am confident it will last me many, many years. Thank you, Portland Rack Attack, for your help in steering me toward a sound choice.

Great bike rack for my RAV4. Removed the piece of crescent metal on the spare tire holder in order for the rack to fit. Not a difficult procedure. Rack Attack advised me of this requirement before purchase. I use a strap in addition to the one provided to keep the bikes snug to the spare tire. The other strap is fastened to the roof rack. I've done several long trips with no issues.

Great rack for my Jeep - easy to load bike onto, easy to fold arms down when not in use. I've driven to AZ and back several times w/ two bikes and have had no issues! Love it!
