This is not perfect, but it is damn close. We have driven to OBX 6 times with this bag (720 miles each way) and it always seem to rain. I mean end of the world, build an ark type of rain, and everything stayed dry except for one towel on the side near the zipper. It folds up easily and installs pretty easily as well. The U brackets were a little long for the cross bars on my vehicle, so I did grind them slightly to get a nice tight fit. This bag is a little more money, but I think it is worth it. I also think the "off the roof" design helps to keep things dry.
