how wide is this rack.
we have a factory installed roof rack and need a wider rack to support 2 kayaks on the rollers

We are not showing that this rack is adaptable to your Jeep Commander. We are showing a Thule 460 with a fit kit 3040 would be the proper fit, you can then put longer bars on your vehicle.
