If this rack is as bad as the earlier version, it will rust within 1 year, making the slide bar almost impossible to move, worse though is the link pin with the small retractable ball, which seizes completely and now I cannot use it to lock the vertical bar in place. I have hated this rack since day one! Now looking for something else.

Good rack but flawed design in that the pin for the vertical arm gets heavy wear and tear if there is only one bike on the rack. Used this rack for an extended trip and due to vibration wore threw the padding and damaged my bike frame. Vertical post needs to drop left or right to prevent play.

Great rack! Super light, easy to use and set up. Tons of ground clearance. Good for medium to light weight bikes. Have not run into a bike that it couldn't fit. Paint is durable as well. Locking kit is recommended and integrates nicely. Would get 5 stars if it folded up more out of the way and arms could lock into place.
