As an avid bicyclist for over 40 years I've had my share of bike racks. There has been something wrong with every single one of them, something you just wish were better to make it easier to use, give you confidence going down the road, and a host of other things. That is, until the Bones 2. This rack is as near perfect as I think it's possible to get!! Honestly I can't think of anything I don't love about this rack!! It's easily adjustable, lightweight, appears durable, accepts every kind of bike with ease, secures each bike extremely well, is unobtrusive on the car, has a lifetime warranty and terrific customer support. Forget those other trunk mounted racks you're looking at. This the one to get. You'll be as satisfied as I am!!

I bought a Saris Bones 2 so my son could move to college and take the bikes with him (one road bike and one mountain bike) - combined 67 pounds - just under the 70 pound limit. The rack worked like a charm making the 1,300 mile trek with ease!

I bought this rack for my Hyundai Accent. The rack was extremely easy to set-up and mount on my car. Bike popped in really easily. I haven't noticed any shifting of the rack or my bike after driving. I have had the opportunity to drive a few hundred miles on the Interstate with the rack and it performed perfectly.

I bought this recently and there are many positive features. As a senior citizen, I find it easy to mount my comfort bike on the Bones 2 holding arms and and the assembly is very stable. Because the bike holder arms are adjustable, I can lower them after removing my bike allowing me to fit the car, with the rack on, in my garage. Unfortunately, the ratchet straps are difficult for me to use and as I get older they might become more difficult. My last bike rack had fabric straps and they were easy to use and very effective.

Seven years ago I purchased the Saris Bones 2 rack, and have been all over the country with it ever since. On the rare occasion that I take it off the car, I can easily carry it inside over one shoulder, or fold it up in the trunk. It fits on every car I've ever tried to put it on, and has withstood a constant barrage of elements. As an avid mountain biker, people often ask my opinion on what kind of bike rack to choose-- and the answer is Saris, every time.

I use this on our Chevy Malibu and drove round trip for 450 miles. The bikes and rake remained stable with no readjustments needed (except for double checking for safety reasons). Love this product!

I have had the bones 2 bike rack for a year now and it is a great product.

Have owned Saris bike rack over 6 years. Used it on a 4 month cross-country trip. Very easy to place on vehicle and remove. Holds our two bikes (one is an older heavier bike) without any problem. Folds up and stores easily. Very durable - after 6 years it is like new. I highly recommend a Saris if you want a quality, long lasting, durable bike rack.

This fits my Mini well and looks sufficiently cool for the car (needs huggers to fit)! Easy to assemble to the right shape for the car. Easy to put two bikes on it. Easy to stow away after, and can be stored in the car whilst we're off pedalling
