2016 Mitsubishi Outlander

light weight for a hitch mount bike rack. easy to use. purchased this model to use with 2 Bike Friday's which have 20" wheels. was able to adjust to fit and slider bar was able to go low enough to reach the large top tube of Bike Friday. purchased with locking kit which was a nice low security feature. the center arm and the wheel trays are secured in the upright and bike mount position by a bar type pin which is mounted by cord. I would be concerned if pins dislogged. bikes must be removed in order to open rear hatch of station wagon/suv

2007 Subaru Forester

I love this rack, even after 21,000 miles of traveling with it ... Atlantic to Pacific to Atlantic and back to Denver. Easy on/off the car, easy on/off with bikes. Without bikes, I can open the trunk with the rack in place. With bikes, I can easily tilt the center post to enable opening the trunk.

If this rack is as bad as the earlier version, it will rust within 1 year, making the slide bar almost impossible to move, worse though is the link pin with the small retractable ball, which seizes completely and now I cannot use it to lock the vertical bar in place. I have hated this rack since day one! Now looking for something else.

2005 Kia Sportage

Good rack but flawed design in that the pin for the vertical arm gets heavy wear and tear if there is only one bike on the rack. Used this rack for an extended trip and due to vibration wore threw the padding and damaged my bike frame. Vertical post needs to drop left or right to prevent play.

Great rack! Super light, easy to use and set up. Tons of ground clearance. Good for medium to light weight bikes. Have not run into a bike that it couldn't fit. Paint is durable as well. Locking kit is recommended and integrates nicely. Would get 5 stars if it folded up more out of the way and arms could lock into place.
