Prorack Hitch Carrier 2 Bike Rack

Hello, and thanks for reading my review. I have purchased a Prorack 2 bike hitch carrier for my SUV. This rack is well constructed and I like the attention to detail in this particular product. Ranging from the Powder Coating finish to the thick rubber bicyle holding pads. I have had my rack for about 60 days and was really, really impressed when I took my Explorer with bike loaded on it and drove perpendicular along a 15-20 degree embankment, yet when I looked in my rear view mirror the bikes DID NOT budge, shift, or sway in a manner for them to touch each other. Why did I choose Prorack? Mainly because the mast is a single piece of steel. I was looking at an Allen 2 bike carrier, a few dollars cheaper, but along the same price point; yet, their mast was two piece construction held by two bolts. Hence, my decision was made and I am glad I opted for the ProRack bike carrier. I used to own a Thule and this ranks up there with my former rack, yet costs a lot less. It is a sturdy rack and I trust it to carry my bikes to and from my destinations. Sincerely, Ron
